This concept project  we displayed earlier in the year has now started work on their project and looking for sponsors threw Kickstarter.

A Unique container home the SCH Series
Flagship product is the SCH-1, a 40ft converted shipping container. The SCH-1 will hopefully be the first in a large range of container homes and accessories which will one day expand to incorporate studio homes through to 2 or 3 bedroom homes.

20 ft Multi Container Accommodation, - mYPad, Forest YMCA, - Brighton, UK,

mYPads are containerised units that are being converted into affordable homes for Forest YMCA residents to rent at a rate of 30% of minimum wage. They can be delivered to any empty site and be ready for use straight away.

In June 2012, the first two prototype homes were delivered to our site in Forest Road. Staff and visitors have been testing them for tempreature, noise levels and general comfort. The feedback will inform the design of the final working models.
